How to play ArenaTap

ArenaTap is a browser-based daily sports geography game at playarenatap.com. It is a standalone web game, with an official Reddit community at r/ArenaTap. You play five rounds: four venue-pin rounds and one multiple-choice Name the Team round. A perfect game is 1,000 points, and the daily challenge resets at midnight Eastern Time.

The five-round daily game

Rounds 1, 3, 4, and 5 are Pin the House. ArenaTap gives you the stadium or arena and its team context. Move around the map, place your pin where you think the venue is, and lock it in. The closer your guess is to the real building, the more points you earn.

Round 2 is Name the Team. Instead of placing a pin, you see the venue area on the map and choose the correct team from multiple-choice options. This round is always second in both the daily game and practice.

Later pin rounds are worth more, so a strong finish can move your score quickly. The complete daily game is worth 1,000 points.

How scoring works

Pin scoring is based on distance from the actual venue. Very close guesses earn most of the available points, while long-distance misses earn progressively less. Round values are 100, 100, 200, 300, and 300 points. Round 2 uses the same 100-point slot for Name the Team.

Daily challenge and practice

The main ArenaTap challenge changes once per day at midnight ET. Players in the same mode get the same daily set, so scores are directly comparable. Practice is unlimited, uses separate questions, and does not alter your daily score or daily completion.

No account is required to play. Your browser can keep your local streak, personal best, completed games, and Atlas progress. A recovery code can move that progress to another device.

League modes

The default All Sports daily mixes venues across sports. You can also choose league-specific daily modes such as MLB, NFL, NBA, NHL, MLS, and college football. Each available mode has its own five-round daily challenge.

After finishing, you can share your ArenaTap score without giving away the day's answers. Challenge boards let friends use a shared code and compare daily results. Atlas tracks the venues you have encountered over time, giving the daily game a longer-term collection and learning layer.
